For motion picture film scanning, Franklin Creative Media works with a partner company that produces a higher then HD resolution video scan of your film reels. Due to a special deal with our partner, the initial can often be done at little or no cost to the client, saving you hundreds of dollars. (Call us for details.)

Slide and Negative Scanning
Franklin Creative Media recently invested in one of the best scanners available. We use it to scan all sorts of slides and negatives. We scan 35mm slides and negatives at a minimum of 3200 DPI, which is the minimum recommended by the photography industry. We most often scan these at 4800 DPI for extra quality for printing. We can go much higher if requested by the client. We don't take short cuts like many large companies going even below 2200 DPI. While the scanner will automatically fix issues with the picture, at your option, fix other issues with Photoshop and other software.
Photo Scanning
We use the same high quality scanner for photos as we do slides and negatives, and we have different recommendations for the resolution (DPI) depending on the size of the photo. Fixing the pictures in Photoshop is also an option with theses scans.
